We suggest incorporating different stances/postures/body positioning in as many exercises as possible.
Even the slightest variation, such as kneeling, gives your average triceps push down a completely new feel.
In this example, kneeling takes out all of the leg assistance you get from the traditional standing position.
Kneeling also puts you in a more upright position compared to a more leaning position most people have when doing them standing. This new angle will more than likely recruit some of those muscle fibers you’ve been missing.
When it comes to optimizing your training, creating new angles to stretch and contract your targeted muscles is key.
And don’t be afraid to get creative!
Happy training friends!
